What would be some good Christmas songs to play on pedal steel at church?

Any Christmas song in general..they all sound so great on steel.

In particular, I would suggest:
Oh Come all Ye Faithful
Oh Holy Night
Silent Night
It came upon a Midnight clear
These 4 songs have made a lasting impression on me when I hear them on steel.
But like I said - any song fits so superbly to steel.
Pedal steel was custom made for Christmas! Very Happy

"Away In A Manger" is a good one for steel too and "Silent Night", "Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem", and "Oh Holy Night".

Ed, bless you. What a great thing to do for the little ones- introducing the steel guitar to the young impressionable minds! I believe that this is where it has to start in our duty to promote the steel.

I just wish it were possible for my own grand daughters (1st grade and SK) to attend such an event.

Landon:
Mike Sweeney cut a very nice Christmas Cd a few years back. There is a rhythm track with it and it is great. All the standard great songs are on there.
You might contact him and see if it is still available.

Paul Franklin's Christmas album is spectacular.

As for a song suggestion: the Little Drummer Boy.
