Hi Everyone ,I have a long story but will try and
keep it short.. Played guitar since I was 8. Now I have
nerve damage not getting better after operation. So I
am going to try to play the steel guitar. Trying to
put daughter through college -not cheep. I would like to see if anyone is interested in a trade I have a
Neumann u87 ,they are not cheep they run around 3 to
3,400.00 new. I hope someone would like to have one
and make a Trade for a double neck Steel Guitar .
Something decent . Dying to play something..Hope this all comes through. Read this site for month ,you all seem to be a bunch of sane upright guy`s ..

Thanks deeply,

Hi, Don`t remember the age right off but my
Brother-in-law lives in Berlin and that`s where you
have to look up the ser.# to find the year. I`ll
let you know when I find out tomorrow.

Condition I would say like new to me. I bought it
from a guy who owned his own studio . I only used
it maybe 5 times my self - less than 8 hours ..

Sorry it is taking te Neumann people so long but
this is what they sent ne today .

Please understand that "manufacture date inquiries" have the lowest priority, as usually this information is not necessary to work with a microphone. And some of these inquiries *do* take weeks for us to find out, some cannot be cleared up at all. Depends on the specific serial number.

Best regards,
Martin Schneider / Neumann Mic. Development
