This is my arrangement of "Someone To Watch Over Me" for the Bill Leavitt tuning which appeared in SGW magazine 3 or 4 years ago. In a couple of spots I use string pulls behind the bar (fingers of the left hand behind the bar pull a string up 1/2 tone). Play through section 1, then go back to the beginning and play again, skipping section 1 ... go directly to section 2... you know the routine. Enjoy.

The more exposure this tuning gets the better
for all of those who are tired of lugging all
those heavy instruments and are ready to try something different.

I printed out your arrangement, and got to work on it at about 2:00am. It's now 6:00am and I have it down pat to the 1st ending! I love the arrangement!
What a great tuning. It easily allows that 'jazzy' feel that I've always wanted in my playing.

Up all night playing steel... sounds like me 
One of the best ways to get comfortable with the Leavitt tuning is to work out some basic chord positions and chord patterns: major, minor, and 7th chords. I like to play 12 bar blues patterns in several different keys on the Leavitt tuning using 7ths and 9ths. It's also helpful to work out patterns that involve the IIm chord, VIm chord, etc. I really need to be comfortable with some of the standard chord progressions on a tuning before I can use it in a band situation. Working out the major and minor scales is a must too.
