Hello Forumites, searching through youtube clips as we all seem to do, I came across this clip of Bud Carter's induction to the hall of fame. Not only is he a brilliant player (Do a search you'll soon see), but also a great builder and a very well respected man by all the greats of the steel world. For those who didn't know, Bud was the man behind the M.S.A. then the MCI, then finally the Carter. Enjoy this clip with Scotty inducting him and his responce.

I was at the ISGC that year and later that evening got to talk with Bud and John Fabian (and didn't know how dire John's condition was at the time).

This was recorded on my small hand held video recorder.
John Fabian had contacted me about 9 months prior to ask if I would get it cleared with Scotty to record the induction.

I had Roger Crawford stand in the audience with my video recorder and hold it over people's heads to get the video. Sadly the lighting was all wrong for video (came in from the side), but the way I look at it, any video is better than none.

Love ya Bud,

Bill Ferguson
