Check out this nifty freeware program. It generates charts for every scale (and I mean EVERY) for any 6-string tuning. This is one of the easiest utilities I've come across. Very cool!

I downloaded the EasyScale Andy but my Winzip would not open it. Format was the reason given.
Any suggestions?
Roy

I downloaded it to a PC running Windows NT 4. I used the Winzip wizard and it opened up with no problem. Someone more technically savvy can help better than I. B0b? Brad?

It's a nice program, worth the download. Roy, if you had problems uncompressing the file and are using the most current version of WinZip, try downloading it again.

Hello Roy ,
I downloaded that piece of software and extracted it . But when I went to set it up I was prompted to " insert disk " .
The file it was looking for was " EasyScale.cab " . The .cab file which was extracted into the directory didn't have the letter " e " at the end of it so I just renamed it and also put the capital letters in for E and S and that solved my problem , maybe your problem could be something similar ? If that doesn't work , I could e-mail you the zipped file ?
Ingo.

Ingo: I will take you up on your offer to send me the EasyScale program and will be glad to get it.
My problem sounds much like the one you solved but I don't want to go back there because too much time has been spent there already.
Best Regards to you on your big day over ther in Ol' Ireland.
