This is a 70's Japanese made 5-string banjo. It says "Astro" on the peghead, but I've seen this same banjo with other names too. It has a 1-piece aluminum rim/flange and a mahogany resonator. It has a brand new Schaller geared 5th string peg. Just had a professional set up with new bridge. It's ready to play, and comes with two extra set of strings and what looks like the original chipboard case. Asking $150 plus shipping.

Things that I'd be interested in trading for include:
A lap steel-especially 7 or 8 string.
An amp head
A funky old electric guitar
A pickup for my 7 string dobro
I could put some cash with the banjo for something interesting.
