these are neat. i had the dark wood glossy finish model. was heavy but best neck and great sound. i'm thinking this one might not be quite so heavy?

just had to chime in. i am a novice when it comes to judging instuments etc, except for these Peavey t-60's. i have the sunburst model about 28 yrs old. bought it new. would not take less than $800.00 for it. i play mostly acoustic and steel these days. however, occasionally i get a chance to get the ol' t-60 out from under the bed. one trip through the tuner and it sounds as good as anything out there. this guitar is worth all of $500 or more.

I bought one of these when they first came out, still have it, it's the natural finish body and is very heavy. It's a cool guitar, you can get anywhere from a strat sound to a les paul, the roll in pickups cover a lot of territory.

I don't know if this guy wanted to be bumped or not but I too love these guitars. As a luthier here in Phoenix, I worked on a lot of these. Most people didn't know about the coil tap feature built into the tone controls. When the tone knobs where all the way up you had a nice, bright single coil sound. You then could roll the tone controls back a couple numbers and the full, powerful humbucker would kick in and all of a sudden ,WHOA! Les Paul. Since most people didn't know this and most keep the tones all the way up, the guitar Oh Well was kind of a flop.
