Steeler: Paul Franklin
CD Title: The Christmas Collection
Tune: Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Label Stigitar Records SR0001CD
Year: Late '90s?

The reason Paul Franklin has been the top session player in Nashville for 25 years, is because he has these prodigious chops, and the taste to use them sparingly.

Prodigious chops indeed! Thanks, Joe. Your selection of instrumentals remains refreshingly eclectic and even borderline quirky sometimes, but it is always satisfying to me, because I like surprises! Keep up the good work. Cool

Joe, thank you very much for posting this. Is there any way to get one's hands on this CD? It's long out of print and I think I read a post by Paul some time back saying he had no plans to re-release it.

I love this! I'm sorry, but this should never be out of print if the rest of it is that good. I love Christmas music, and I really want this!

Man I was neck and neck with him up until he hit 2nd gear at the 0:045 mark and then it was like Where'd he go?
