| Don't care much for the Zookies. Takes forever to find the angle you like, then you're forced into that position...We used to just call 'em "blue thumbpicks" when I was a chap. |

| I use the blue and the red. Don Curtis (RIP) told me at one of our steel jams that the red ones were a bit stiffer, I believe that to be true. |

I always felt like the red ones were flimsier but I suspect that the color was the only difference. I do remember there were years when the blue ones weren't available and I switched briefly to Nationals. Much too thick and rigid for me. I like the nylon but they do stretch out -- nature of the beast I guess.
I'd have to stock up a bit deeper than that, Ken. 
I tend to throw one away every couple or three weeks. It's funny, sometimes I'll just toss it on the floor of the club where I'm working and leave it there. I recently started noticing them turning up on the ground outside or in a corner where they got swept at my regular venues. Old wounded soldiers.

I'm in the same boat . Many years of the blues, trying to find ones that were tight enough.
No more, It's the white Fred Kelly's all the way. Love the feel, the contact point, tone, etc.

| Well, just finished my order at Elderly's for several diffent kinds of the Kelly Delrin Thumb Picks...so I'll do a little experimenting and see if I can find a winner. Thanks for all the info, much appreciated. |
