We lost a good friend and a very good guitar player last night in Muskegon, Michigan. Steve Maycroft was about as fine as there was on the electric in Michigan and could have made his way in Nashville.
Steve died suddenly last night at his home at the age of 42. Rest in peace, Steve. We sure will miss you.

Mr Burley, i didn't know Steve personally. But i do know my friend george redmon knew the Maycroft family. Steve's sister vicki, and his brother john. As george tells me, vicki played keyboards, and john also deceased played guitar. A wonderful family, and we are sorry to hear of his passing. Cass Broadview, George Redmon, Lillie Powles
