Thanks very much Andy. This is a great practice aid. I love the fact that you can keep changing the key and get the practice of moving what you know to other keys. |

Good point Scott. I also like to loop a certain section of a song to practice different licks or maybe work on a certain part of a song that's givin me a hard time by slowin it down until I can play the part in question then increasing the tempo until I can play it smoothly at the right tempo. |

Your welcome Tamara, and again thanks to all that have requested my files.
I recently upgraded my BIAB from 2004 to 2009.5 and it's awesome to experiment with the RealTracks and RealDrums. I've been able to make a good soundin file sound lots better by replacing some of the midi tracks with better soundin instrument tracks. It's great practicing with better soundin drums, bass and the acoustic rhythm guitars sure sound good too. |

Some of the midi tracks just have too much goin on for my tastes and I usually wind up muting one or two of them. A good bass line some drums and a some simple rhythm is what I go for. A little tweaking with RealDrums and RealTracks really makes those files sound better. |

Hello Andy,
thanks for sending the zip file. These songs are great for practising and learning how to use BIAB.
I think I'm missing some of the styles because I have the basic BIAB package so I may need to invest in some additional styles.
Thanks again,
Chris |

I tried to keep them as simple as possible by muting unwanted instruments. Guitar or piano, bass and drums is usually all I need to practice with. Thanks again guys for all the nice comments and the offer still stands as long as I receive emails with a request for the zip file. |

Andy,
Got the BIAB program today and played the files you sent me all afternoon. Wife wasn't happy, but I had a blast. I knew quite a few of the songs and many in the same key I play them in. Some were new and some were different than the way I play it. Enjoyed the songs all the way around.
Thanks again for the files, they are great to practice with.

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with the amount of requests I've received since I first offered the zip file. For those who are just startin out with Band In A Box, you can use my files to see how a song is composed and how certain parts such as rests and retards are constructed. Change the key, slow down or speed up the tempo, try different styles add more chords or just replace some of the chords with different chords to see how the song changes. Remember, you can do all the changes mentioned and as long as you don't save the changes the song will stay the same. But most of all, just have fun with them. |
