Notable for his appearances with Marlon Brando in 'A Streetcar Named Desire', 'On The Waterfront' and 'One Eyed Jacks'. He was terrific in these films and many more - Marlon must have thought a lot of him.

A sad loss, but he had a fruitful career and made quite a mark on the world of stage and cinema.

RIP, Karl Malden.

It's always sad when somebody passes, but Malden lived to be 97, had a highly successful acting career, and as far as I know, was never involved in any kind of scandal.

This was a good life. One to be celebrated.

97 years...this is a good life, indeed.
Nevertheless, he was a actor who marked the spectator in each of his appearances. He will be missed.

Mike,

That's so true. He was one of the rare breed who lived his life without any scandals. I read that the marriage with his wife was the longest lasting in Hollywood as they have been married since the late 1930s.

RIP, Karl Malden

Kind Regards, Walter
