I have a 12 string steel Deckly guitar leg with a stripped hole in the guitar body. There is nothing wrong with the leg threads..
Does any body have the address of the Deckly company? They might have some parts left or have a answer for me!
Or does any of you steelers ever had this experience before and how did you solve this problem? Any suggestions?

Hey Sonny, Dekley has been out of business for years. You can try Sammy Gibson at (413)566-8777 to see if he has any parts left OR if he would make you some. He and Jim Smith both worked for Dekley for a long time and really know their stuff!

| If you have someone near you with a little Machine knowledge, they could possibly redrill and thread with a 5/8 or 3/4 thread.I have leg inserts for all sizes, and this will probably be the quickest and cheapest way to fix your problem.It will not even be necessary to remove the end plate.If you call me at 1-800-749-3363 I may be able to help you find someone to drill for you. 'Sorry Jim, I guess I got my info crossed up over the years. Sam did make some Dekley parts for me years ago and did do a great job.

I picked up a 1/2-13 helicoil on ebay for 9.95 and when it gets here, i have freinds to help me if i have any problems.
