Well, here's testing the waters to see what is available out there.
WANT: 7 string Rickenbacher bakelite, string through the body. Last one on ebay went for $1300 or so.
HAVE FOR TRADE: Jerry Byrd short scale FRYPAN, serial number A034 and signed on the back with engraver by Jerry Byrd to the original owner back in 1980. This is one of the original authorized frypans (less than 100 made, I am told). Excellent condition with case.

Sounds impossible, however someone may have several Ricks but doesn't have a JB Frypan original.

How about a 7 string post war, strings through the body?
