| I want to buy a tubescreamer, mine gave it up tonight at my gig. I need one in a metal box, I do not want a vintage one or a ts7 or soundtank. What have you guys got? Thanks, Jim Peters |

Jim,
I believe the reissue Tubescreamers (TS9) are still available for just over $100. Mine seems to sound the same as the old ones. It certainly looks the same... puke green, metal case, etc. Try Musician's Friend. |

| Jim, you might want to give the Visual Sound "Route 66" pedal a shot. It's got the same overdrive as the TS-808 Tube Screamer, and the same compressor as a Dyna-Comp. A steel housing you can stand on, for about a hundred bucks, at M.F., or other chains. I love mine, did away with about three other pedals! |
