That's a real shame. He wasn't the best guitarist out there, but his sound was highly influential on rock guitarists worldwide.

What a drag. Yeah, I'm an old Stooges fan. You're right, Brad - not a technical wizard by any means, but he got to the point and was the perfect foil for what they were doing. RIP, Ron.

At least he got in a few years of the reunion stuff that he'd waited decades for.

Seems odd that the one guy from the band that stayed relatively clean from hard drugs was the one to go first once reaching middle age.
