And it won't be the last! It sure was great to meet all the nice folks whose names I see here on the forum. The shows were completely inspirational and everyone was so friendly.

It's going to take some time to go through all the CDs I bought and go through the techiniques I learned at the Joe Wright seminar - man, GOOD TIMES! I'd never heard Buck Reid before and now he's one of my favorite musicians. Doug Jernigan, Jim Cohen and Mike Johnson totally knocked me out. And I got a picture with Tom Brumley.

OH and the John Hughey/Don Helms tribute was one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed - seeing all the musicians with tears in their eyes as they played was so touching.

For all those people that I met and hung out with, looking forward to staying in touch and seeing you in 2009!

Best,
Joel Martin

Hi Joel,
It was great to meet you.I didn't get to talk to you before you left for the airport as I had left the ballroom and when I returned you were gone.I trust you had a safe trip home and hope to see you next year.
