*This is sold, please close this thread. Thank you

This is an Emmons Lashley LeGrande Ultra Match model LL30. This is a matchbox type of device. It's a little different from the Goodrich Matchbox: the Emmons Ultra Match has a bypass switch, an "expand" control which adds highs and may be increasing the effect of the buffer (I'm not 100% clear on what this is doing to the circuit, but the tone gets brighter and twangier with this control), and a "boost" control which increases gain. There is also a jack for a power adaptor, but it has a fresh pair of 9v batteries in it. This unit sounds really good. Compared to the sound of my Goodrich Matchbox 7A, I would say that the Emmons Ultra Match has a bit twangier tone (sounds good!), and at least as much gain as my Goodrich. It's cool having a bypass switch as you could use this for a clean boost. This is a rare Emmons item, and it sounds and works great. The only issue is that a piece of the skirt on one of the plastic knobs is missing (see photo), but you could just replace the knobs if this bothers you. It came with a non-Emmons power adaptor that I have not tried that I will include, but it has fresh batteries that should last a long time so long as you unplug the cable when you're not using it.
$100 shipped in the U.S.A. Add $10 shipping for other locations.

Thank you,
Cliff

This was designed by Ron Lashley and Ed Buffington. I had the priviledge of experimenting with the proto-type (1994), & still have one. It is unique in the way it shelves the frequency spectrum ... the ear is the final judge of "what you want to hear". No bad experience, but I found it performs better with my tele, and 6 sting guitars, than my steel.
