Hey Y'all,
I got this 73 key Rhodes in my warehouse. It is fully operational with original speaker cabinet,amp and pedal. It weighs too much to ship anywhere but I
would be glad for you to pick it up and bring me
$600.00.

These came in 73-key and 88-key models. Some of them had some sort of built-in stand that housed the amp and speakers; other models had legs but no amp and speakers. I've owned two 73-keys. Some years had bad quality control for the metal that is used for the tone tines. My second one was definitely much better than the first.
You better have roadies or a big hand truck. These things are heavy.

Eddie,
You might try emailing recording studios in your area.
A rhodes with the size and weight is tough for gigging, but in the studio the difference between a real Rhodes and Rhodes patch on whatever electronic keyboard is large. And the weight isn't an issue in a studio.

Pat,
That's not the "suitcase." The "suitcase" didn't have the amp and speakers with the built-in sustain pedal. (And you can see in your picture it says "Eighty-Eight" [not 73] on it.) The suitcase model is the keyboard, only, with individual legs like a pedal steel.
Yeah, advertise it locally. With that amp/speakers, you're talking maybe $150 to $200 to ship, maybe more. The model without the speaker cab weighed a ton and took two people to move (unless you wanted to wreck your back).

| Alan, that's a common misnomer, but it is actually the other way around. The suitcase is the one with the speaker cabinet and the stage model is the one without the cab. I've owned both and I'd take it if I could get to it. That's a great buy. There is nothing that I've ever heard that duplicates the sound of a suitcase Rhodes including the stage model. |
