I did a search and could not find a posting in regards to this festival, so at the risk of repeating someone else, I am posting this message. It will be June 20th thru the 23rd. The web site address is westernswingfest.nstar.net. It has a great line up of performers and should be a real fun time. I have never been before, but I have heard great things about it, and judging by the lineup, it is obviously a great show. I know that Herby Wallace and Hal Rugg have performed there in the past, when it was in Snyder Texas. Hope maybe someone will see this that didnt know about it, but I imagine it is "old news" to most of you guys.

When I found out about this upcoming event, I called my parents and told them about it. As they live about 45 minutes outside of Wichita Falls, Texas, they have made plans to attend this great shindig

I tried clicking on the link above for the texas information, but I got an error message to the effect that it doesnt exist. Does anyone know if it has moved-I would be interested in checking it out periodically as I frequent Texas often-for the purpose of hearing great live country music !

Larry,

I think Dayna added a 'period' on the end of the hyper-link. Try this one:
http://wwww.wsmonthly.com

which takes you to this:

http://wswing.home.texas.net/

hope this helps,

-Chas

That's the right link. This is a great publication. If there is a Western Swing band playing anywhere in the country, not just in texas, Barbara will have it listed there. It also features a record review column by yours truly, but don't let that put you off of subscribing.
