I dug back and found this great video of the then 17 or 18 year old Donna Hammit.
Sure makes me wish I had started with this instrument earlier.

Dick,
Donna got her start from Stoney Stoneceipher.

Donna is now married with children and living in TN. I'm sure she plays some around the house, but I don't think she is picking out any these days.
Maybe she will post a reply here.

Mickey; I'm with you on loving to hear the slower ballads being done on the steel; and whom can do them any better than Donna. The first time I see her with Bill Anderson's Band, I fell in love with her playing abilities and her steel guitar; and naturally, being of the opposite gender, Donna looked exactly like the beautiful gal I had dreamed about for years. I was way ahead of her time, but I still love to hear her play that Franklin.. A great job, Donna, and many thanks to Bill for bringing all this great talent to us thru " U-TUBE".Thanks for your E Mail, Mickey..Warm Regards, Bernie Whoa! Whoa!
