"Night Life" - Part 2 - Steve Palousek - C6 Instrumental

Post by Jeff Garden »

Here's the tab for Part 2 of Steve Palousek's killer version of Night Life from his CD "Let the Games Begin". This will take you from 2:05 to 3:10 on the youtube video...

Here's the Part 1 tab thread and will take you up to 2:05:

I have replaced the original Page8 tab on Part 1 with a new edited version and an edited Page9 now appears on the Part 2 thread.

***** Once again special thanks to my friend Mike Archer for his hard work in figuring a lot of this out. Contact Mike for his latest DVD of Night Life Part 2 which will give you a video to go with the tab

The tab is based on Steve's CD and Mike's latest DVD. Mike and I may differ just a little in some of the fast runs...I slowed everything waaay down on the CD to figure some parts out and hopefully got it pretty close. Corrections are always welcome. It looks like we might have to still come up with a Part 3 at some point!

I've written it out with a real basic C6 setup (same as Mike plays it) so most guys with a C6 neck can play along.
The four pedals and one knee lever you'll need are as follows
P5: string 5 (-1/2), string 9 (+1/2), string 10 (+1)
P6: string 2 (+1/2), string 6 (-1/2)
P7: string 3 (+1), string 4 (+1)
P8: string 7 (+1/2), string 9 (-1/2), string 10 (-1 1/2)
R (knee): string 3 (-1/2)
The circled number or letter in the tab refers to the pedal or knee.

Thanks for the nice comments, guys! I took your advice this time, Ron, and made the copies as dark as possible before I scanned them. Hope it's a little easier to read.

Once, again, let me add my thanks for the superb tab on this one, Jeff and also kudos to Mike Archer for his teaching on this tune ( and for his other lessons as well).

Of course a tip of the hat too to Steve Palousek for his version of " Night Life". stevet
