"Night Life" - Steve Palousek - C6 Instrumental

Post by Jeff Garden »

This is the first half of a killer version of Night Life by Steve Palousek from his CD "Let the Games Begin". What a monster player!
***** Special thanks go to Mike Archer for doing a LOT of the heavy lifting figuring this out. Contact him through the Forum to check out Part 1 of his DVD of this tune*****
The tab is based on the CD and Mike's DVD. I've written it out with a real basic C6 setup (same as Mike plays it) so most guys with a C6 neck can play along.
The four pedals and one knee lever you'll need are as follows
P5: string 5 (-1/2), string 9 (+1/2), string 10 (+1)
P6: string 2 (+1/2), string 6 (-1/2)
P7: string 3 (+1), string 4 (+1)
P8: string 7 (+1/2), string 9 (-1/2), string 10 (-1 1/2)
R (knee): string 3 (-1/2)
The circled number or letter in the tab refers to the pedal or knee.

It's a fun tune...enjoy! This should be CLOSE to what Steve plays...some of those single note runs get a little crazy! Corrections are always welcome. I'm hoping to team up with Mike early in 2016 to do Part 2.
