Hey all

Does anyone know the correct way to play "To Cold At Home"?

I show one way, but is it correct?

Kind Regards

Interesting

Post by John A. Russell »

Hey Ron.

Interesting, I got the one I printed from a Youtube teaching video by Eddie Dunlap

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stdEaZqy-hk

I guess everyone puts their own feeling in a lick and add or remove the number of strings picked, and rightly so!

Thanks for your reply.

Kind Regards

That doesn't look like mine, that was on your site at one time. I'll have to see if I can find mine and post it.

Jack, certainly others eventually did tab and send them to me and Rebel would put them up. Sometimes it said who did tab and sometimes not. I ONLY have all the tabs that either I did or did with a steel/friend and sound clip that goes with; in my personal files; as that "Rebel and Ricky" is not up any more. I only contributed info about that a tab that "was on" or saved; but said on the site; that "I did not actually do that tab"...>but did put the tab for the intro and turnaround that me and friend tabbed here on this current thread.

Thanks Ricky and Jack.

Interesting how we all hear the same lick and interpret it differently.

Hi Ricky and John -

Yes indeed / there's many ways to skin this cat!

Many things can make the smallest difference, including string timbre, etc etc.

What must be decades ago, PF included this intro as part of an instruction tape.

That would be 'The Closer'

Kind Regards to all -

Ricky, I did the tab you have posted from the Ricky & Rebel site. I feel real comfortable with it as I learned it from PF himself.
