Is that 1st part a bar bend?

That's right, it's a forward bar slant.
Pick once and slowly kick out the bottom of the bar on string 7 from fret 13 to fret 14, then fret 15 while anchoring the top of the bar on string 4 at fret 13.
Am I sure old Curly done it this way? Naw...
I'll put up the turnaround from "Heel" too. It's a beauty.
