you might try pushing the shaft back on the pin , and see if the other end clears the bushing.maybe the way they were installed at the factory.

what is wrong with the amp ,is it a f.e. t.500 evan;s ..

you might try glue and wood filler mixed ,then fill the hole and then,put the screws in before the filler dry's.it might work.

i use half of a spring close pin,the wood end are shaped just right.
