What Earnest said. Every all-pull guitar I've ever played will start to move the strings if you touch the pedal, even slightly. So, I don't do that.

A push-pull is a different story...

Thanks, no need to photograph the bar if it still fuzzes when not using it.

I like Fred's idea about the pickup mounting being shaky... or something. Maybe take a look at that when changing string ...

You used the word 'split' -- Lee gave you one, where it's notes in unison... that you can then release the pedal and knee and the notes split off in different directions, one going up and one down.
