Allen is a gentleman from Kentucky perhaps and he sounds remarkably like George Jones. His band might be called "Possum Tracks." His steel player is outstanding.

Serial number is inside on the end plate behind the C6th neck. The serial number is 2605. I would think the guitar is maple. Mahogany Formica sounds better. Ask anyone who owns a Martin D18. Smile ...

Thanks guys. I've been playing with my thumb pick back for many years. It eliminates more fiddly stuff for me by reducing the effect of that thumb joint.
