I lower my A's a half step, and raise my first string D a whole step to E . If you don't have the C-C# I would seriously consider it, I use it a lot

Check out Herb Steiner's web site, he has a C6 essay, which shows what chords you get with the pedals and pedal combos. Really helpful when starting out on C6, Good Luck, have fun. Steve Catt

Spit doesn't work for me, Liquid Rosin works for me . You have to pry the picks off .
