Hi Jim,
No I'm not using a guitar pick. Just the normal 3 picks.

Sid Hudson use to use a guitar pick and also Mike Borque here in town and play great.

I adjusted as follows at the start, then tweak it per room.

Mid 11 O'clock
Bass 1 o'clock to 4 O'clock
Presence 1 o'clock
Highs 2 o'clock
