The last time I ran in to that issue I found no way of staying in tune. I was forced to simplify my playing as much as I could and try to use 2-note "chords" that I could hold in tune by ear ...

About five years ago they were still having get-togethers. I worked every Sunday and could not attend because they always met on Sundays. I have not heard anything since, either.

It sounds like you want to do the following:

-Wire a two-speaker cab so that the speakers are wired independently (not in series or parallel) and share a common stereo input jack with a common sold ...

I'd bet that Lee Jeffriess knows a lot about that subject. PM or email him, he seems to know just about everything from that era.

I've been using an 8-string tuning for a while that makes sense to me as a pedal player. Low to high:

D E G+ B C+ E G+ F+

If you play on the 3rd fret, think about it like pedals-up G and move to ...

Any suggestions?

I could put together a 25" scale 6 string console but it would cost about $750. $500 for a Morell custom 6 for $500 and buy legs for $250.

If I go 8 string I would probably go G6 one step lowe ...

My go-to mic in this category is a Shure 849. It's basically a condenser version of an SM57.

But $50 is tempting!!
