I want to replace the existing pickup in my SX-8 with the alumatone bass bar 3.5
I also would like to change the pots. What value pots would be best?

Ian, you're right about his book. I read his book six times already, it was that good. I wish other builders would write a book too. I also enjoy his cd.

Hey Keenan, didn't you come down to the Mississippi Steel guitar show 3 or 4 years ago? You might check with Bill Stafford or Harold Coakley. They put on the show at the local VFW in Gulfport.

I have a good friend of mine that knew Johnny and he told me Johnny passed away about a year ago. I never heard him play but my friend sais he could really play.
