I am holding off on downloading the new version 1509 because of reports of documents being deleted during the upgrade.

The reports I've seen state that the default setting for the "Disk Cleanup" function on the 1809 upgrade is to delete anything in your "Downloads" folder under C:\Users.

Very nicely done! Can anyone point me to history of this tune or early recordings? I saw one listed by Bob Wills on Youtube but the recording sounded obviously (more) modern.

More modern than lat ...

Who’s the guy playing the D’Angelico in the last photo?

Joe Negri, apparently.

I'm wondering what band that is. LB on drums. I don't think that is Louis Bellson.

Scott:

I was referring to the recording I posted as more likely 1951 than 1946.

There was an entire bootleg LP of those 1961 demos released a long time ago--late 1970s, maybe early 1980s. I don' ...

That was a 45 on the Waikiki label. The flip side is Aloha Kauai and is said to have Joe Custino on steel--so I'd assume Joe is also on Kalama Ula.

It was Haydon's only release on a semi-major label. He deserved better, with a great voice lik ...
