I flip it upright so it doesn't rest on the switch and strings during travel. It's not a big deal to flip it over to fit the legs.

Bill Flores taught me to have a low Bb on the 7th string (strings 1-6 are a normal C6 tuning). This makes a very nice straight bar dom7 chord for comping.

After a full day of recording, that 8.1oz stainless bar of mine was getting real heavy (and painful to lift). Basil's bar is 4-5oz for the same dimensions. Hmmmmm

If I had a triple, I'd have a C6, C#m7, and B11 neck, but that's just me.

There's an Ernie Ball string gauge calculator out there somewhere that helps figure the gauges for each tuning.
