Congratulations on an excellent find.....As Jack Hanson said it is a rare guitar....I have seen very few of the 7 string variations of National Cast guitar.

Yes , the lever at the back is a pickup selector.

The knob at the front ....I honestly can't remember....will check when I get home

I think Scott may be right.

When I look closely at the tuner buttons they are the same unique construction.

So if Conchord didn't make a high end model it's likely yours is a custom bui ...
