They aren't cheap but the Mutron Phaser and Phase 2 will take a line level signal without distorting so they should be able to handle a pedal steel.

Some time in the late 80's or early 90's. Still using eyelet boards through the Rivera period in the 80's. The Blues Deluxe/DeVille were circuit boards.

For iPad and iPhone I use the Line 6 Sonic Port. Lots of different amp sims. Have used it for recording before so it should work going direct to FOH.

New speakers you might want to try are the Jensen C12K or Celestion Vintage 30's. Both sound good in a Twin.

The bag just keeps dirt etc. out of the tank. Most Fender amps don't screw the tank to the cabinet but the bag instead, leaving it floating in the bag.
