You can play in tune, in time
If you're due onstage, you'll be there early enough to setup and tune
Your playing has developed to the ...

I just got passed in Topeka by a white pickup with Georgia plates saying "ShoBud".
Wonder if I knew the driver.

Was a Fender Maverick an all-pull guitar?
I'm seeing return springs and what looks like scissors.

Every one I ever saw was pull/release.
This one sure looks all-pull.

All the talk of JI vs. ET ignores the fact that everyone else on the stage is in ET, until the Tele player mashes too hard on some strings and less hard on others, and the bass drifts a bit.
I've gon ...

I put my whole tone raise on a zero pedal, along with the half tone raise of 2.
My half tone raise, along with a whole tone drop of 6, is on my RKL
That allows me to hit the 1&2 raise, then pull ...

I'd check for chassis ground on the tone pot. Remove pot, look at the mating surfaces, clean and sand lightly.
The cap might be dying, as well. They're cheap.

Is there a serial number stamped in the endplate?
The brackets look a little crude to my eyes. I'd bet (but not a lot) that it's a homebuild.

For string-pickup gap, most of us use two quarters/3.5mm.
I have found that three quarters/5.25mm often gives a sweeter tone, although with the penalty of a slight reduction in output. Since most of ...

The tuning nuts aren't threaded until you put them on; the pullrods cut the threads the first time you mount them.
The first time you mount them, I'd recommend a proper wrench (for leverage: a tuning ...

The base plate isn't connected to either wire.

The Telonics 84 is a reverse engineered clone of the Bob Hoffnar Tonealigner, which is the "son of" the Craptrap, but sadly out of production.
I'd personally rather find a used Tonealigner. ...

My Zum, as well as my previous MSA, had two pedals doing double duty. While I do notice that P4 and P5 are stiffer than the other 6, it's not really objectionable.
It's also possible that:

First, troubleshooting is called for.
Is the problem in the changer or the pulltrain?
Take your tuning wrench and push on the rods, both raise and lower, both 4 and 8. See if they return to the stop ...

Make the bend slightly greater than 90°, so the slight hook reduces the likelihood of falling out, an ...
