Two 12s for me.
Newer speakers sound better than old worn out ones.

I use a NUX Atlantic for reverb and tap tempo delays.
Pitch fork has a killer chorus and will drop tune to E flat.
LEX for Leslie type effect.
Tom Bradshaw Resonator for DoBro effect.

Gimmi an E is not a good answer unless everyone in the band is a old pro.
Certainly not a good answer for a beginner.
Back in the good old days things were not in perfect tune.

Really one speaker is plenty.
I have Two 12 inch TT-12 speakers and it is a pretty light setup.
The Head is 31 Lbs. TT-12 speakers in box are 27-1/2 Lbs.

When I switched to the Peterson offsets that have the Es slightly sharp it seems more in tune in a live setting.
Sort of the same as Tuning the Es with the pedals down I guess.

Universal B6th side at first for me seemed thin sounding but after awhile it came together and sounds good now.

That looks pretty standard for Newman Universal E9th/B6th.
I like the E lower on RKL. Just what I am used to.

I had a Carson Wells D-10 that sat for many years with same problem. After disassembly, cleaning the gears with parts cleaner, re-greasing, they were still tight. Spun them with a drill, still tight, ...

I used to use a B9 and LEX but was too glitchy.
Now I just use the LEX with the tone dialed back a hair.

I use SIT strings and change my 3rd string every 3rd or 4th gig always buying them in in bulk per dozen.
Carefully bring it up to G and wait to ease it up to G#.
last time I bought from another comp ...
