I've found these pickups sound better if you back them away from the strings. Lane suggests 3 quarters clearance, although my Rains bottoms out before that!

Paul,I believe p/p have numbers that are sometimes serial and sometimes invoice numbers. Legrandes are numbered sequentially, presumably L001 to L4000,or as many as they made! My 1993 Legrande L1153

Wayne, the nuts and bolts are ordinary hardware. Mine had slot head capscrews and square nuts(that side into the extrusion). Maybe 10/24 3/4"

Dave, with a lot of guitars(Carter,Rains and Emmons Legrande) if you raise string 2 with 1+7, you can time it so 2 starts to move as 1+7 reach G, giving you a "feel stop".

I use the f lever and b pedal one fret back most of the time, so my LKV lowers my 6 string. LKR raises 1,2+7. I have 5 lower 1/2 on my 4th pedal for times I want to used it with strings 1,2,7 or 9.

I would put standard C6 pedals 5-8 with D on first string. If you have 2 right knees I'd lower 3 and raise 3. Learning with G on one will just be a habit to later break! Pete, p6 +Bb kl changes major ...

George, someone should point out that the Nashville 400 tapers to 9 1/2" at the top. A stock cover may only go part way on your amp! FWIW

Jim Loessberg sells a tab book for his whole CD, including "Sawed off Shotgun" available at his website. It's amazingly affordable and also has Lloyd Green's "Midnight Silence".
