Such sad news. I got to do a gig with him about 10 years ago (me on guitar) and he played perfectly and was a true class act.
He’s the reason I have my ZB, which was a holy grail guitar for me.

Ahh OK. Big Jim. He looks a lot different here than he did on Paychecks 80's Lone Star show. He had amazing technique and seems he was as good on C6 as he was on E9.

that sure sounds fantastic! Thanks for sharing and all the inspiration! I agree that the C6 might be the real soul of steel guitar. I mean, theres a reason The Big E's last guitar was a single C6!
