Thanks, Howard. I can see both channels and they're equal. I'm monitoring them while recording and they sound fine, definitely stereo- I can hear the separation.
Maybe some kind of phase issue? I kno ...

Nice speaker, clear , warm, pretty neutral. Highs are not spikey, bass is tight. 6.6 lbs, 8 ohms. But don't take my word for it..here's what Eminence says:

The E series ( as Jerry said, maybe K recones) have definitely been reconed with something- no aluminum dust caps. Sure doesn't look like JBL recones.
