Most people didn’t even know what cabinet drop was until electronic tuners came along. Don’t even worry about it, just tune and play. 😊

I knew that Gary’s personal guitar had those pick guards, didn’t know he put them on others but I like the idea myself and makes guitar look sharper.

I believe cabinet drop is caused by electronic tuners. Put the tuner away and balance by ear and cabinet drop goes away.

My beliefs too. Have never paid any attention to it. I use the SE9 on my Pe ...

I don’t know anything about a Bigsby guitar but who would give 20k for that?
Also, if someone replaced the necks from aluminum to wood, looks like a great job. They even made the keyheads wood.

Full lowers on 6th work fine on a push pull with no notivable problem for B pedal. I’ve also got a tunable split on mine where A pedal raises it back a half tone. Doesn’t affect A pedal either.

I don’t have a fix but I’m very puzzled that a fine guitar like a Mullen would have such an issue. I wouldn’t file on anything because something else wrong somewhere.

You just need to move your collar on your 8th string in, closer to changer so it can push it further. It should have a compression spring on it too.
