Hey , that ding dont bother me , I would love to have that guitar. My derby has a few dings but it sure dont affect the sound or play ability of the guitar.

Does the string overlap itself at the tuner? If so thats the problem.

I have a couple of EB pedals. I have changed the pot in One of them to a Dunlop 500k. As far as tone , I cant tell any difference but the sweep seems to be a bit better with the Dunlop.

For simplicity and great quality I use the Tascam DR-05.
I also have the Tascam DR 44WL 4 channel portable. ITs a great recorder but I use the DR-05 due to its simplicity.

I have a line out on my amp that I used to got to PA when needed. this delivers the sound and effects straight to the pa.

I installed BIAB on Linux Mint with WINE. everything seemed worked except the audio driver. I haven't had time to research as to why yet. I do plan to get this working , I really like Linux.

the only difference that I can think of is that I have never heard of a recall of well built steel guitar.

I faced the possibility of execution my first couple of years but things got a lot better over the next 40 years. Laughing Keep it up , it will be worth it all.
