in the 70's buddy did a killer solo with one while playing with john anderson on acl. just knocked it out of the armadillo world headquarters. i'd love to see that episode again.

they were made around 1970. psgparts.com should have what you need for a knee lever. the site is having repairs now so you might have to wait a little.

buddy was playing bass with rm and living in la at the time. he had gone back to sho bud in 1970 when he found out he didn't like his deal with emmons. here's a picture from 1970 guitar player.

a bigger helper spring was added left of the lever. not factory. original spring wraps around the base of the lever.

your knee lever needs a big spring on it to pull the d back up to c# as it originally came from the factory. the maverick knee lever is special to mavericks and all pulls won't have that.
