Looks like they scraped off the gold paint. Stole the cool nameplate, looks like rivets put in for the clay colored dots... Poor thing’s been beat up. Not worth it |

If you're talking about the drilled hole, it's for the rod that connected and tightened additional bodies to make a multi-neck instrument.
