Ian, I think you may have hit the nail on the head. Buddy was able to play any lick he wanted but that wasn't one of them for whatever the actual reason was.

I used the same Hilton pedal for around 18 years without a hitch. No noise, pots to replace and it's as transparent as you could want.

If this one ever goes bad, I'll get another one.

Tony, other than wattage,do you find much difference between the DV versus GK with respect to tonal quality, EQ'ing etc.?

THe EPS also made for a nice weight reduction compared to the BW.
