I believe that is Robbie McIntosh on the Telecaster. Formerly of the Pretenders, a very skilled player who would have no problem doing wide pedal steel type bends. | |

Interesting outcome. I have never had bad luck yet with JJ brand tubes. I sure hope their QC isn't going downhill, but one never knows? Corporate changes, cost cutting, etc.

Naturally, a Gibson SG is going to be tonally different than a steel guitar. But he certainly has a technique. His hand vibrato is fantastic. I think even better than Duane's. | |

Sounds like you have already troubleshot the obvious problems. This is a circuit board amp, so it may not be an easy fix. I would contact Peavey unless you know a local amp tech. | |
