Someone here suggested rubber o rings like for plumbing etc. These work for me to keep the legs stable and tight plus makes them easier to get loose in the event you might want to break it down.

I have only a sketchy list of ZB serial numbers after 1968.

The last number on that list is #0506, a D-10 made 9-28-1973.
The SD-10 made three days before, on 9-25-1973, is numbered #0504.

Jon, the SKB trap cases come in several lengths.

The SKB H3611 ATA trap case interior measures 36.75” x 11.75” x 7.75” and should easily hold most D-10 or S-10 pedal steels.
