Hey guys,

Friend of Mine (John Layton) is looking for a Pedal Steeler for the first weekend in April. Pay is good and room and board provided at the gig.

Please let me know if you are interested in the gig. He needs somebody who will learn 10 oringinals and plenty of standard covers we ALL know.
The 10 originals had John Hughey on Steel.

Please call or e-mail me at:
817-706-0347 cell
or bgmccoy@sbcglobal.net

Yep....you are correct.
John is a swell guy and a tremendous talent!
Proud to call him a friend and fellow picker.

I was unable to do this gig for him on that weekend due to conflict in schedule. I have had ONE inquiry about the gig so far...I think he is looking for someone a little closer to home (texas Louisianna)...so travel expenses dont bite him in the behind.

Yep, wish I wasn't already booked. I'd jump on it. John Layton is a great guy and very talented. Someone here should help this boy out!
