Come visit our Steel Guitar Black Box table inside the main hall at Scotty's ISGC 2004.
Steel Guitar Black Boxes will be available for purchase. We will also offer international versions for various mains voltages.
If you'd like to try it before you buy it, this'll be the time and place to do it. We'll have a couple of PSG's (Emmons p/p and ZB) set up with some headphones so you can hear what the hype is all about. We'll also have some amp mod kits available as well as miscellaneous electronic toys and effects.
Please come visit us.

Brad, Is there any chance you are going to have a mod kit put together for an Evans
E-200. I sure do like what you have done researching caps and treble controls for the Evans amp. You are just making a great amp even better. See you in St. Louis.

John:
You are going to be one happy camper with this box. I use mine on my old push pull and also on my LeGrande 111 and it is unreal. The greatest thing since the Hilton pedal. If you don't have one of those ..get it now..Just my two cents...

Hello Willis, Thanks for the input. I to have a LeGrande III ( year 2000 ).
I'm useing a pair of Mesa Boogie Mark IVs, with a lexicon MPX 500. I've been playing for less than a year. I'm a guitar player by trade. I love the steel, and I look forward to actually being good at it in a few years.
Do I really need this pre amp? Most of the tone comes from the hamds. Will I hear a marked improvement in my tone with this BB ?
thanks
J. W.

John:
I agree about the hands but, that is assuming you have the other necessities, to produce what your heart and hands are trying to express. My humble opinion is Brad's Box and Hilton's pedal are necessities.

If there is anyone from Asia, Down Under, Europe, UK, or any other continent than North America and you are interested in a Black Box, please let me know so I can prepare a Black Box for your country's mains voltage.
Thanks,

OH MY !! What a difference Brads' Black Box, a Hilton Pedal, and a Pro Fex II processor makes !! Thanks to Brad, and Larry Petree ( Bakersfield, Ca. ) Your advise and help has put this LeGrand III, in proper perspective.

Randy: I been away for a bit.I sent you a e-mail.
John : I knew you would be impressed with this thing.
To the other guy who e-mailed me, insunuating that I worked for Brad....No I am very happily retired. But...I will state my opinion on this equipment LOUD and Clear....IT DON'T GET NO BETTER THAN THIS.

Willis; I would be very glad to endorse Brad's new Steel Guitar Black Box considering the positive response & reviews it has gotten. I will get one soon, but can't afford it right now. Whoever sent you an email concerned that your working for Brad, so be it. I haven't figured out the point. Actually, sounds like the SGBB is GREAT for just about any instrument application
Nonetheless, stay retired |

Not yet, but that's a good idea. MP3's are pretty low fidelity so they won't do it justice, but there's still plenty of audible difference that you can hear it in the midrange. I'll try to get that added to the website sometime soon.
Thanks,
